Pope Francis invites us: “Now is the time of a new Holy Year, when the Holy Door will once again be opened wide and everyone will be able to experience God's love alive, which awakens in the heart a strong hope for salvation in Jesus Christ.”

We are preparing catecheses intended for grandparents and their grandchildren as part of the Jubilee Year 2025.

“We are pilgrims on this earth, faith is our journey.”

To ensure we remain strong in faith and have a good pilgrimage in the Holy Year, we will be accompanied and assisted by some child saints. We will also journey to certain Czech pilgrimage sites associated with plenary indulgences.

The community of the Zlín parish invites you to a spiritual renewal called "Connected", which will focus on connecting Christians to the living Jesus and bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The program will include praises, adoration, and catechesis.

On Sunday, January 12th, it is the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord. The Christmas season ends.

In the afternoon, at 2 PM, we invite children and parents to an Adieu to Baby Jesus at the parish church of Saint Nicholas. Prepare 1-2 carols, a Christmas poem, or a skit with your family at home.

On Tuesday, December 31, 2024, the traditional New Year's pilgrimage to the Chapel of St. Francis took place. The Holy Mass was celebrated by the rector of the Archdiocesan Priest Seminary in Olomouc, Father Vít Hlavica.

On Sunday, December 29th, on the feast of the Holy Family, the traditional pilgrimage to Our Lady of Vysoká took place.

In beautiful winter weather, a large number of pilgrims gathered to celebrate the feast of the Holy Family, walking to the chapel where they prayed for the families of our parish.

The largest bell of the unique carillon, which will be part of the under-construction chapel of St. John Paul II in Loučka near Vizovice in Zlín region, was cast on Thursday by bell makers in a workshop in Brodek near Přerov. The chapel's design was created by prominent Czech architect Josef Pleskot; the cast bell will be one of forty, making it the largest carillon in the Czech Republic.
