On Sunday, December 29th, on the feast of the Holy Family, the traditional pilgrimage to Our Lady of Vysoká took place.

In beautiful winter weather, a large number of pilgrims gathered to celebrate the feast of the Holy Family, walking to the chapel where they prayed for the families of our parish.

The largest bell of the unique carillon, which will be part of the under-construction chapel of St. John Paul II in Loučka near Vizovice in Zlín region, was cast on Thursday by bell makers in a workshop in Brodek near Přerov. The chapel's design was created by prominent Czech architect Josef Pleskot; the cast bell will be one of forty, making it the largest carillon in the Czech Republic.

On Monday, December 23rd at 9 AM, the parish church of St. Nicholas in Újezd will be decorated.

Document to open confession Christmas 2024

On Saturday, November 23, 2024, the traditional Pilgrimage of the Men from Loučka to Holy Hostýn took place.

About 90 brave men participated in the pilgrimage through the snowy landscape, embarking on a nearly 40-kilometer journey to the Virgin Mary.

The pilgrims dedicated their journey to the intentions of the parishioners, which could be submitted at the churches of the Újezd and Dolní Lhoty parishes.

The pilgrimage ended with a holy mass with Father Tomáš Strogan.

On Sunday, the pilgrims participated in holy masses and a communal Stations of the Cross.

On the occasion of the Jubilee Year 2025, the dioceses of Bohemia, Moravia, and Silesia will hold a joint National Pilgrimage to Rome from March 28 to 30. The number of participants in the first extraordinary group from the Czech Republic is already fully booked due to the limited capacity of some Roman basilicas. Only for pilgrims from the Litoměřice diocese, it is still possible to register through CK Křížek. Below we provide more practical information for pilgrims and travel agencies.
